We are all familiar with Lionel Messi and his otherworldly-ness. He simply isn’t from this planet and his goals reflect that. On December 9, 2012 we were informed that Messi had broken Gerd Muller’s 40yr record of 85 goals in a calendar year. Well, two weeks later and Messi has completed the year with a whopping 91 goals and we’ve created this shirt to celebrate the feat.

The XXI shirt has a very special meaning over here at LBF. It was the design that I released on my 21st birthday that sold out in hours…It’s really what kick-started this brand online, so we have a soft spot for the design. After six versions of the design (Gray, Heather, Sons of Ben, Union, Navy, and the mystery one) we are proud to add two new colorways to the line up and a restocking of the super soft, tri-blend Heather one.
We spent the weekend invading the new school of Architecture at Temple University snapping photos and re-arranging furniture we had no business moving. We would really appreciate it if you did not tell administration. Again we enlisted the help of our good friend and football prodigy, Fola, and Dom did a little modeling as well.

If you’ve been following our Twitter feed over the last couple of weeks you may have caught glimpses of our Clint Dempsey design. Well, the wait is finally over and The Deuce is here. Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed supporters of all things U.S.A. and proud Cottagers, I present to you ‘The Deuce‘ shirt by LIVE BREATHE FUTBOL.
We are really excited about this release for a few reasons. The first is that Clint Dempsey is the first American footballer to grace an LBF shirt. Over the past few seasons Deuce has proven to be an invaluable asset to both club and country, becoming Fulham’s all-time leading goalscorer in the process and winning the U.S. Men’s Player of the Year award in 2011. The second reason is that Dom (our media guy and model for the photoshoot) is a Dempsey worshiper and refused to get any work done until we released a Dempsey shirt. Kidding. All jokes aside, we think Dempsey is a special talent with a remarkable story. Couple this with his edge and determination to succeed and you’ve got a serious candidate for LBF immortality.
Almost two years ago I made an ink drawing of the legendary Diego Maradona. For the next two years the drawing sat in the pages of my sketch book collecting dust.
Today we are really excited to release our ‘Maradona‘ tee shirt. Maradona is one of the greatest and most controversial footballers ever and it would be a grave injustice not to immortalize the man in true LBF fashion.
The design features Maradona hoisting the World Cup trophy in 1986. The trophy graphic is made up of one of Maradona’s famous quotes where he flips his critics the bird. Single-handedly winning the World Cup for your country is a pretty phenomenal feat– something another great Argentinian footballer has yet failed to accomplish (We’re looking at you Leo, but you’ve got time).

The design is three colors (black, sky blue and goild foil) and is screen-printed on a white, super soft, 60% cotton 40% polyester shirt. The shirt is athletic cut and fits remarkably well.
