If you’ve been following our Twitter feed over the last couple of weeks you may have caught glimpses of our Clint Dempsey design. Well, the wait is finally over and The Deuce is here. Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed supporters of all things U.S.A. and proud Cottagers, I present to you ‘The Deuce‘ shirt by LIVE BREATHE FUTBOL.
We are really excited about this release for a few reasons. The first is that Clint Dempsey is the first American footballer to grace an LBF shirt. Over the past few seasons Deuce has proven to be an invaluable asset to both club and country, becoming Fulham’s all-time leading goalscorer in the process and winning the U.S. Men’s Player of the Year award in 2011. The second reason is that Dom (our media guy and model for the photoshoot) is a Dempsey worshiper and refused to get any work done until we released a Dempsey shirt. Kidding. All jokes aside, we think Dempsey is a special talent with a remarkable story. Couple this with his edge and determination to succeed and you’ve got a serious candidate for LBF immortality.
