Crying out for a world-class striker since Robin Van Persie left for Manchester United, Giroud receives criticism each season that he is not clinical enough. His recent form and overall record for Arsenal tells a different story.

5 goals in 5 games, 11 goals in 9 starts, 13 goals after taking just 18 shots. After reaching 150 games for Arsenal, Giroud has scored 92 goals. Not bad for £9.6 million eh?

Challenged with dragging the Gunners through games which they have been severely underperforming, have Arsenal finally found their savior? Over the past month it has been Big Oli'. He is finally poised to shed the "lamp-post" nickname.

Over the past month Giroud has taken a step up and seems ready to lead the Gunners to victory. Can it continue throughout the rest of the season?

The podcast team had a heated debate in Episode 36 about strikers that are better than Giroud, and if he is in the "elite" tier of strikers.

Here is the list of strikers that we have in the elite tier:
Lewandowski, Aubameyang, Suarez, Aguero, Costa, Ibrahimovic, Benzema, Higuain, Griezmann

Second Tier Strikers:
Lukaku, Kane, Cavani, Aduriz, Lacazette, Dybala, Benteke

These lists are not in particular order. Let us know if there is anyone that we missed or someone is not in the right tier!
