    Live Breathe Futbol Was Born | Nov. 2010

    Ebun turns 21 and, to celebrate, he created the XXI shirt.  Twenty-one shirts were printed up and sold out within hours.  Live Breathe Futbol was born.

     

    Philadelphia Union T-shirt Design Contest | March 2011

    Ebun wins Philadelphia Union t-shirt design contest with “Original Doop Design” which helped propel LBF into the consciousness of Philadelphia soccer fans.

    A Strike Partnership | May, 2011

    Good friends throughout college, Dom and Ebun sat down to partner up on LBF in May 2011. The partnership strengthened LBF and the company has forged ahead ever since.

     

    LBF Meets Golazo | May, 2011

    Flew to Seattle to meet Richard Tait, co-founder of Golazo (drinkgolazo.com) who has become a great friend and mentor. Ebun even spent 9 months in Seattle as an in-house designer for Golazo.

     

    First Retail Account

    June, 2011

    Second Street Soccer (now closed) takes a chance on LBF and is the first retail store to sell LBF merchandise.  Owner, John Shipley sadly passed away in 2013.  Rest in Peace, John.

     

    Philadelphia Inquirer Feature

    January 2013

    LBF was selected as one of five first place winners in FedEx’s Small Business Grant competition. This inspired a feature piece on LBF in the Philadelphia Inquirer. You can read the story here

    February 2013

    First collection: LBF is Forever

    November 2012

    The release of this collection was a major step in the growth and expansion of the brand. The collection included a scarf, crewneck sweater, hoody, t-shirt, and track jacket. Keith Hickery (KCKRS) even went as far as saying the collection “offers American fans a range of depth I can’t remember any American soccer line matching previously.”

    June 2013

    Friend of the brand and OG LBF Squad member, Amobi Okugo, scored a thumping header against FC Dallas at PPL Park. To celebrate he lifted up his jersey to reveal a LIVE BREATHE FUTBOL compression shirt underneath. Boss. Watch the goal here
